Thanks for visiting my site! If you are here, you must be interested in “who” Jackie Rafferty is. Well, here it is. I was born and raised in Beverly, Massachusetts. I had an extensive and fulfilling career with two Fortune 500 companies – New England Financial as Marketing Communications Manager and PR Director and Proposal Specialist at John Hancock.
After the arrival of my second child I embarked on a solo career, first as a favor to a friend, then for the love and freedom consulting offered while I raised my family. My consulting career is diverse and includes companies in Boston, Chicago and Florida.
Florida is now where I call home with my family. I have continued to provide Marketing & PR services to real estate, technology and social media clients. Now that my kids are getting older I am interested in a more permanent position in PR/Marketing/Social Media fields. I am also open to broadening my consulting base as I am particularly interested in becoming involved with non-profit organizations. Social Media has also become a passion for me. I am addicted to Facebook for sharing thoughts and pictures with family and friends that I cannot be with. And Twitter has become my connection to PR and Marketing communities. I have found Twitter to be both instrumental in the way I communicate and with whom. My profile is also available on Linkedin.
Outside of work, I enjoy boating, skiing (water and snow), reading and collecting classic books, traveling with my family and networking with friends and colleagues. I have been blessed with a super life so far and I look forward to embarking on the next phase.
